This place was known as Pozo de Gracia (Well of Grace), for having the best underground waters in the region. In May 1825the town hall decided to demolish three houses to build up a larger square around El Carmen Church, the only one with two towers in the city. After opening the new space, it was named Calle del Paso or Plaza del Carmen, it is from that date, that our house exists. Today is not only the path way to the well, but it is also the path way to styles, customs, generations and the time passing by Legends.
